On Erev Rosh Hashanah and on Erev Yom Kippur the community men’s mikvah, located on Sage street in Far Rockaway has many visitors causing congestion on the surrounding streets, and the mikva parking lot itself often becomes frustrating, or even worse, unsafe.
In an effort to improve safety and traffic flow, the mikvah will be implementing the following traffic rules on Erev Yom Kippur from 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM:
• Entrance to the mikvah parking lot by car will be through the Empire street entrance only.
• Exiting from the mikvah parking lot by car will be through the Sage street exit only.
There will be personnel on hand as well to direct traffic – please follow their instructions.
