Ki Heim Chayeinu: Rav Avigdor Nebenzahl Continues Learning Following Accident

Mi Kiamcha Yisroel: Rav Avigdor Nebenzahl (87 years old), the Rav of the Old City of Jerusalem, was in a car accident at the Ramot Junction and continued learning.

Rav Nebenzahl was asked if he was ok, to which he responded “All is well” and continued learning as if he was still in the Bais Medrash. His head was back in the Gamarah while he awaited for police to assess the damage and for medics to clear him onward.

Many compared this video to the viral video several years ago of R’ Asher Weiss at a soccer game with his grandchildren, who was similarly completely immersed in his learning.
