6

The New York Times for the 13th time in just 3 & half months has a front page article spreading misinformation & demonizing Orthodox Jews. At the same time, antisemitic attacks specifically targeting the visibly Jewish in NYC – the ones targeted by New York Times – have risen exponentially.

Read the full statement from Agudath Israel below slamming the Times:

“Another week, another front-page attack on Orthodox Jews – this time targeting children with special needs and their families.

The New York Times confirms, for the 13th time in just three and half months, its obsession with spreading misinformation and demonizing Orthodox and Hasidic Jews.

At the same time, antisemitic attacks specifically targeting the visibly Jewish in New York City – the ones targeted by the New York Times – have risen exponentially.

Why is the New York Times using its enormous megaphone to spread hate and misinformation?”

  1. If you take Federal Funds abiding by the requirements for it is what being halachically in line with our teachings as Orthodox Jews. Saying that though does not mean that we must jump through hoops to get the services our children need. Play by the rules so our children can get a complete education and services they are entitled to.

  2. “Misinformation” does not mean “news I don’t like”.

The latest report is on ongoing gneiva, with organized theft of our tax dollars by orthodox groups. Many of us have been screaming for years about these actions which are ossur as geneiva and massive chillulei Hashem.

Guess what: these groups have been publically mechallel shem shamayim on a massive scale. And agudah wants to blame the newspaper that noticed it?

    For shame!

  3. Wow! You morons think this is about not teaching English and math. It’s about indoctrination. They ,the woke idiots of this liberal society want orthodox jews to be assimilated into their way of thinking. They are pushing the critical race indoctrination into the Torah institutions. Whoever doesn’t see this as a problem, then you are part of the problem. Personally I see this for what it is another attempt at destroying our Torah way of life. goebbles did it before, the demonization of the jews. So you see it’s people like you that yell it’s gneva and chilul Hashem that are the problem.

  4. So…. according to Joseph Calabro, our Torah way of life involves defrauding the government with fake diagnoses claiming Special Education requirements for kids who are developing typically, overcharging for tutoring services so that the owners fraudulently bill millions of tax dollars while underpaying unqualified ‘teachers’ to provide the special education services.

And, I guess, enforcing oversight, cutting down on fraud, and stopping this theft is construed as “indoctrinating woke liberal critical race theory”?

Clearly your yeshiva education didn’t teach you to read English. What a shame it also conveyed some pretty strange ideas of what Torah requires as well.

  5. So…. according to (self righteous and judgmental ) Ah Shandah… its more important to support the biggest anti-Israel ,anti-religious, self hating Jewish “newspaper ” in HISTORY! and who is COSTANTLY pointing out and attacking orthodoxy and causing more anti-Semitic sentiment— than being worried about the accuracy of the charges or damage to the children’s education.
the chilul Hashem is that people like you exist…you and your ilk are, have always been , and always will be the bane of Judaism and that’s a real “Shandah”
