A woman was tragically struck and killed after a police car was involved in a chain reaction crash last night on Beaach 32nd street in Far Rockaway.
A patrol car was responding to a call when it was hit by a vehicle causing the police cruiser to smack into a parked vehicle; that car hit a 52-year-old pedestrian who died from the accident.
Four officers were treated following the crash, with minor injuries.
The individual who hit the police car is now under arrest; charges and investigations are ongoing.
