NCPD Seeks Information Regarding Double Arson in Inwood

The Arson/Bomb Squad reports an Arson that occurred on Sunday, February 26th, at 3:35 AM in Inwood.

According to Detectives, an unknown subject wearing all black clothing and carrying a red bag walked up to the Reliance Customers Brokerage, located at 102 West End Avenue and went to the side of the building. He then took out an unmarked container, emptied an unknown liquid onto the building, and ignited it. The subject then fled southbound on West End Avenue on foot. The fire was extinguished on its own a short time later, causing minor damage to the outside of the building. No injuries were reported at the scene.

The subject returned to the same location on Thursday, March 2nd, and re-set the fire, causing the building to be completely engulfed in flames. Inwood Fire Department responded and put the fire out, no injuries were reported at the scene.
