Update: Medics have raised the injured to Five people, one of them seriously, in the ramming attack on Rechov Yaffo near Shuk Machane Yehuda and the central bus station. The terrorist was shot and killed.

United Hatzalah volunteer EMTs Moshe Erblich and Eliyahu Avraham said: “We were close by when we heard cries for help after five pedestrians were struck by a car. We provided initial treatment to the injured at the scene, who were in serious, moderate, and light conditions. United Hatzalah transported a number of them to the hospital. Members of United Hatzalah’s Psychotrauma and Crisis Response Unit are still treating a number of people for emotional shock.”

The terrorist in the minivan was reportedly wearing a Yarmulke, initially creating confusion and reports that the attack was just an accident. Soon after, they realized he was not a Jew and was just dressed as an Orthodox Jew in order to conceal himself.

Three people are currently being treated following a car-ramming terror attack near the Machane Yehuda Shuk. The attack reportedly occurred on Aggrippas Street, near the Mahane Yehuda market and the Central Bus Station. One is a 50-year-old male in serious condition, and 2 are women in their 30s in moderate condition.

United Hatzalah volunteer EMT Tzvi Klein reports from the scene: “Three pedestrians were struck by a car. Two people are in serious condition and one person sustained moderate injuries. Due to the nature of the incident, United Hatzalah’s Psychotrauma and Crisis Response Unit is on its way to the scene to treat people suffering from emotional shock.”

  1. Its time that Israel learn from China on how to stop these car rammings once and for all. In Chinas history there was never a second car ramming after the first one! The terrorists in Israel are winning, as they are upsetting the nations “social harmony” with using their vehicles as weapons on a consistent basis, let alone firearms, and stones, to the extent that people are now afraid to go shopping, or even wait by public bus stops. And it doesnt seem to be letting up.
