IDF Soldier Murdered in Kadumim Identified as Shilo Yosef Amir HY”D

Updated: Staff Sergeant Shilo Yosef Amir z”l, is identified as the IDF combat soldier who was shot and killed by an evil terrorist while he conducted routine activity adjacent to the community of Kedumim earlier today.

His funeral will take place at 10 AM tomorrow on Har Herzel.

In a devastating incident near the town of Kedumim, United Hatzalah volunteers responded promptly to treat at least one injured individual. The Psychotrauma and Crisis Response Unit is also actively providing support at the scene, recognizing the sensitive nature of the incident.

An Israeli security officer tragically lost his life R”L as a result of a targeted attack near Kedumim in the Judea-Samaria region. The Palestinian terrorist responsible for the act has been neutralized by security forces.

According to reports from Army Radio, the assailant carried out the attack by driving a car and then opening fire on two Israelis in different areas near the settlement. After the assault, the perpetrator fled the scene, prompting a pursuit by security forces who ultimately shot and killed him.

Eyewitnesses at the scene shared with United Hatzalah volunteers that the victim was targeted by assailants who fired upon him.

United Hatzalah volunteer EMTs Yossi Ackler and Dvir Adani initially said: “According to passersby the car crashed into the bus stop and gunshots were heard. With the assistance of a United Hatzalah ambulance team, we provided initial treatment to the injured, who were then transported to the hospital. Due to the nature of the incident, United Hatzalah’s Psychotrauma and Crisis Response Unit treated a number of people at the scene for emotional shock.”
