The IDF released the tragic news that two soldiers lost their lives R”L and two more were severely hurt in a confrontation with Hamas terrorists inside Gaza today.
The two soldiers killed are identified as 20-year-old Staff Sgt. Roei Wolf hy”d, from Ramat Gan, and 20-year-old Staff Sgt. Lavi Lipshitz hy”d, from Modiin. Both served in the Givati unit.
The other two soldiers who were significantly injured in the same battle were airlifted to a hospital in the region.
Lavi and Roei gave their lives for their country. We are forever in their debt. May the memories of both boys forever be a blessing.
