Dedication: Rescued Soldier Ori Megidish Returns to Duty to Assist in Intelligence

0

Cpl. Ori Megidish, who was abducted by Hamas on October 7th and subsequently rescued by special forces from captivity in the Gaza Strip, is set to resume army service today.

Formerly serving as an observation soldier at the Nahal Oz post, Megidish will now be stationed in the IDF’s Military Intelligence Directorate.

According to the IDF, Megidish’s return to service is motivated by her personal commitment and sense of duty to serve the country.

Ori Megidish had every excuse in the book to avoid returning to any formal capacity in the IDF and “lay low” after being in captivity in Gaza. This woman is a true hero and a dedicated servant on behalf of Israel.
