As per recent reports, the daily expenditure for covering shelter and food expenses for migrant households in the Big Apple since Spring 2022 amounts to $387.

With around 26,100 households, averaging 2.5 people each, the city spends over $10.12 million per day on migrants.

The article notes that the average spending per migrant household has decreased by $5 compared to October 2023, when there were approximately 65,400 migrants in shelters.

Mayor Eric Adams released the following information and the most recent data of immigrants entering NYC:

“Mayor Adams has released updated costs of the asylum seeker crisis impacting our city since 2022. Nearly 100,000 asylum seekers have made their way to NYC, and with no end in sight, the city is poised to spend more than $12 billion through Fiscal Year 2025.

The release of these updated figures sends the message to state and federal officials: New York City Needs more financial support to help manage this crisis. Since last year, NYC has largely managed this situation on our own, but as Mayor Adams said, we are past the breaking point.”

See the data below:

  1. This is insane!! These people are violent criminals. They should be in jail for breaking US immigration laws and not getting 5 star hotels and fancy food and debit cards. Lock them up and take away their illegal scooters like the NYPD had the fortitude to do one day after they gang assaulted a cop.

  2. I’m sure glad you weren’t in charge when my great grandparents fled Europe. Can’t wait to see you claim to be one of the רחמנים בני רחמנים next…

  3. Excuse me Masses S’dom, you have a lot of chutzpa comparing these illegal immigrants to your Great Grand Parents who were persecuted in Europe and ran for their lives. I don’t remember any criminals amongst them or child molesters or rapists. Go to your great grand parents grave ad ask for Mechila. How terrible of you to make that comparison. DISGUSTING !!
