Tomorrow, several pro-Hamas organizations plan to descend upon Young Israel of Woodmere to attempt to harass and intimidate the 5 Towns.
This is in protest to another Israel real estate event that YIW will be hosting. These protests have been taking place all over the country, including last month in the 5 Towns, to protest the sale of “Illegal & occupied lands”.
Rabbi Axelrod & Ari Schulman penned the following letter:
“Dear Member,
We hope this message finds you well.
We wanted to reach out to you regarding an anti-Israel protest planned for tomorrow evening during an Israel real estate event taking place at our Shul. The safety and security of our members and the community at large are of utmost importance to us, and we want to assure you that we are taking active steps to ensure a safe environment for everyone involved.
We have been in contact with the Nassau County Police Department, who will be present and monitor the situation and maintain order. In addition, our own security team, comprised of trained professionals, will provide additional support and assistance as needed.
Please rest assured that we are closely monitoring the situation and are committed to maintaining a peaceful and secure environment for all of our members and guests.
We want you to know that our Shul will remain open and available for all of our regularly scheduled minyanim and activities, including the Israel real estate event.
If you have any concerns or questions, please do not hesitate to reach out to us. Your safety and well-being are our top priorities.

How this is not a travesty and an encroachment on individual and collective liberty to assemble and free speech, in a private domain, is beyond me, and the pale. This happens in dictatorships and totalitarian regimes.
Have we sunk that far?
Take many photos of the pro Hamas protesters and if anyone has any facial recognition technology please bring it!
Let’s see if these people can be identified and prosecuted for the harassment!
