The body of 14-year-old Jerusalem resident Binyamin Achimeir HY”D, who went missing yesterday near Malachei Shalom, was found over Shabbos. The IDF and Shin Bet are in pursuit of the murderers.

Binyamin had left with his sheep from his yishuv early Friday morning and never returned, sparking a massive search after the flock returned without him. Horrible news, May Hashem avenge his blood.

Israel Under Attack

Iran initiated its retaliatory assault on Israel over Shabbos, launching cruise and ballistic missiles along with over 200 drones, according to IDF officials.

This action follows the Israeli strike on the Iranian consular building in Syria, resulting in the deaths of two top Iranian commanders.

Explosions were reported over Jerusalem, but the U.S. and Israeli militaries claim to have intercepted the majority of the missiles and dozens of drones (99% of all missiles B’chasdei hashem).

Although some missiles hit a military base, causing minor damage and injuring a young girl, casualties have been limited.

Air raid sirens are echoing across Israel. The Iranian mission to the U.N. has suggested that this attack concludes the matter unless further violence ensues.

Kann journalist Michael Shemesh reports that some Iranian cruise missiles are still heading towards Israeli airspace.

President Biden expected to speak with PM Netanyahu soon, discuss massive Israeli response against Iran.

As a result of incoming UAVs and missiles from Iran and Iranian proxies, the U.S. Embassy has directed all U.S. government employees and their family members to shelter in place until further notice.

The U.S. Embassy in Jerusalem reminds U.S. citizens of the continued need for caution and increased personal security awareness as security incidents often take place without warning. The security environment remains complex and can change quickly depending on the political situation and recent events.

In light of recent events, following the emergency alerts and in accordance with directives from security agencies, United Hatzalah of Israel has elevated its preparedness level to the highest degree as part of its readiness for any emergency scenario.

Dovie Maisel, United Hatzalah Vice President of Operations: “United Hatzalah’s Operations Department has disseminated operational directives to approximately 7,000 volunteers deployed across Israel through operations coordinators in the organization’s branches around the country. Additionally, the medical equipment centers of the organization in all branches have been reinforced during the past week and equipped with abundant medical supplies. Radiocommunication-based communication devices have been distributed to ensure functional continuity in case of cellular-based communication system failure.”

Eli Pollak, CEO of United Hatzalah: “United Hatzalah volunteers are prepared for any scenario and ready nationwide to provide the quickest and most professional medical response. Our Operations Department maintains continuous communication with the Ministry of Health and various security agencies and receives updates as necessary. I call upon the public to heed the instructions of the Home Front Command and adhere to guidelines for their own safety.”

May we hear Besuros Tovos.
