Dear Parents, Staff, and Friends,
We hope that you and your family are doing well.
We are pleased to inform you that BBY is planning its 12th food distribution program. These prepared boxes include a week’s worth of semi-prepared breakfast and lunch meals, milk and juice for all children 18 years and younger in your family, and are free of charge to children in the Far Rockaway/5T communities regardless of income status.
The following information is critical for registration and pickup:
* Distribution date: WEDNESDAY, Aug. 5th
* Printed confirmation page MUST be presented at time of pick up.
* There will be ONLY BE AFTERNOON/EVENING PICK UPS this week, beginning at 4:30pm.
* Location: 613 B. 9th Street, Far Rockaway, NY*
PICK UP SPOT – SIDE GATE ON HICKSVILLE RD.
Line begins via Reads Lane to Hicksville. Cars are not permitted to line up along B. 9th Street.
* Registration is required prior to each pick up – Click below to register (approval provided in order of submission due to maximum capacity).
* Prior registration does not guarantee a subsequent weeks entry.
* Pick up is by appointment only (provided at time of registration).
The food items in the box have been carefully chosen to both accommodate the needs of our children and meet the states nutritional requirements.
