There is currently a controlled fire practice on Leroy Ave in Cedarhurst. The fire is a controlled practice fire, done as a training exercise. The house was being demolished anyways and was donated by the developer to allow the fire department to run this exercise before it’s knocked down.
The street is currently blocked off in both directions, due to the exercise.
