Dear Members:

Due to the new Omicron variant and under the guidance of Rabbi Glatt, we have decided to implement the following additional Covid Protocols.

1. Beginning tomorrow, Weds Dec 22, any WEEKDAY Minyan that takes place in JKM Main Shul will now have the upstairs Right woman’s section exclusively designated as Mask-Only for men. No men who are unmasked should be upstairs.

For Kabbalas Shabbos and Shabbos Mincha, the Center woman’s section will be exclusively designated Mask-Only for women, and the Right woman’s section will be exclusively designated as Mask-Only for Men. The Left woman’s Section will remain Mask-Optional.

Beginning Shabbos morning Dec 25, the 8:30 SK Social Hall Minyan will remain Mask-Optional; however, there will be an area exclusively designated as a Mask-Only section for men only.

Furthermore, on Shabbos morning, the Right woman’s section in the JKM Main Shul will be exclusively designated as Mask-Only for women. No women who are unmasked should be in that section.

Please email us at [email protected] if you have interest in an additional indoor Mask-Only Shabbos minyan at 7:45am which would take place in the College house.

All other minyanim will proceed as currently scheduled. We remain committed to maintain our outdoor weekday and Shabbos minyanim in the Sukkah Plaza. We trust that, as in the past, everyone will be able to find a safe place to daven.

2. Starting Weds Dec 22, we ask that all members scan and email (or drop off a copy) of their Vaccination cards to the Shul office at [email protected]

In the meantime, we reiterate our existing policy: anyone who is not fully vaccinated must wear a mask. Rabbi Glatt also recommends that anyone vaccinated and at a higher health risk should consider masking.

We ask your continued help in keeping each other safe and healthy. Perhaps, as important, is that everyone should respect the choices of their fellow Mispalelim.

As always, we will continue to monitor the situation on a daily basis and advise you if and when the situation requires a change.

Get Vaccinated!
