We can’t spare little Adina the excruciating pain of treatment.
But we can do our utmost to diminish the family’s suffering and sponsor the one and only experimental treatment that is Adina’s final hope.

Until several months ago, Adina was a delightful toddler—smiling, playing, learning how to talk and jump, playing and filling her home with peals of ringing laughter. And then, one day, completely out of the blue, she began to limp and cry that her legs were hurting her.
Her mother took her to the doctor, who immediately ordered lab testing that revealed the worst of all… Adina has an aggressive form of leukemia.
And just like that, life stopped short.
Gone were the smiles and laughter, gone was the joy of life that characterized her at this adorable stage. Now she is sad and so weak, like a wilted flower… She’s only 2½ years old, and her time is running out…
The cancer is aggressive, and the doctors have lifted their hands in despair. There’s nothing to do.
Except one thing.
One doctor proposed attempting an innovative treatment that’s still in trial stages and hasn’t yet been approved by the Ministry of Health. It costs a fortune, and the family can’t afford it, but it’s Adina’s final hope.
Adina’s mother turns to us with tears coursing from her eyes. “I can’t bear to watch my daughter disappear before my eyes… I can’t bear to hear her questions—‘Why am I here in the hospital?’ ‘Why can’t I run and play like my friends? Why can’t we go to the playground? Why does everything hurt me so much…’
