Avi Revach, a volunteer for Ichud Hatzalah, had been childless for 20 years. He’s a member of Rav Gamliel Rabinovich’s Shul in Eretz Yisroel, just the past week he was finally Zocheh to his very first child.
Mordechai Ben David tells over the powerful story below:
Over a year ago, I was here in the shul of Rav Rabinowitz, when someone approached me. He told me that there is a Jew here in attendance without children, & he needs a yeshua.
I went over to the childless man & told him, “Accept a kabbalah to do something that’s truly hard for you, & then Hashem will also give to you.” He asked me what to take on, & I responded not to speak during davening. He told me that that’s hard for him with his friends around. I told him, “Davka because it’s hard for you, take it on, and you’ll see your yeshua.”
The young man started attending a different shul without his friends so he wouldn’t slip up.
Today, I was honored to attend the bris of his first born son! Mazel tov!
