Dems Keep Control of Senate, House Remains Up In The Air

Nevada Senator Catherine Cortez Masto won her re-election bid last night, solidifying Democratic control of the chamber. Masto was victorious over Republican challenger Adam Laxalt.

“Thank you, Nevada!” Cortez Masto said in a tweet Saturday evening after its two most populous counties, Clark and Washoe, finished counting mail-in ballots.

Adam Paul Laxalt, a former state attorney general who received Trump’s endorsement, was hopeful but ultimately came up short.

Democratic Sen. Mark Kelly of Arizona won his re-election contest in Arizona as well. The battle for the House, meanwhile, remains too close to call.

  1. Trumps endorsement is the kiss of death and on top of election denial , climate change denial and anti abortion the maga Republicans are making it extremely difficult to win even though the rest of the Republican agenda is on target with most other issues . If not for NY state the house would not have a chance to turn Republican . Ron Desantis can be your next President however they need to keep the narcissist sociopath away from the Presidential election in 2024.

  2. So let me get this straight. If the republican is in the lead we count for a week straight until enough votes are found for the democrat to take a small lead and then we call it for the democrats even before all the votes are counted… then we wring our hands and blame Trump. If the Democrat is winning then we call it right away for the democrat even if there are votes left, say only 65 percent counted and that’s the end of it.
And of course anyone who questions this is an election denier
Nothing to see here folks keep on moving.
