One person was tragically killed R”L in his home in Rechovot, after a rocket made a direct hit to his home.
Additionally, a man is trapped under the rubble and is in critical condition. Fire crews are currently attempting to extricate him from under the rubble.
United Hatzalah volunteers have provided initial treatment to five people who sustained light injuries as a result of the direct missile hit.
United Hatzalah Rehovot branch head Yoni Rottenberg said:
“It was a very difficult scene with a lot of destruction. Unfortunately, the death of one of the injured was pronounced at the scene as a result of the rocket hit. In addition, we provided initial treatment to eight people who sustained moderate and light injuries. United Hatzalah’s Psychotrauma and Crisis Response Unit also treated numerous people for emotional shock.”
