Rabbi Yosef Sonnenschein moved to Waterbury 23 years ago. He spent many years teaching in the Beis Medrash and High School and also served as the Rav of KaHal Bnai Shalom of Waterbury for almost twenty years. Four years ago, he began teaching in the Lander Beis Medrash and recently accepted the position of Menahel there.
Rabbi Sonnenschein has utilized the opportunities provided by his various positions to uplift, guide, coach, and mentor young adults and families. He collaborates with Rabbonim and Roshei Yeshiva and mental health professionals to improve the lives of our fellow brothers and sisters, B’nai Yisroel.
