Hersh Goldberg-Polin, a Jerusalem resident whose parents grew up in Chicago, hasn’t been seen since the Massacre on October 7th.

Hersh’s mother, Rachel Goldberg, addressed the UN Security Council this week.

“I don’t know if he bled out the first day,” she said. “They blew his arm off by throwing multiple grenades into the safe room they were all taking shelter in. They put him on a truck. Eyewitnesses said he fashioned some type of tourniquet, but how long can a tourniquet hold when you are driving into a war zone?”

Goldberg-Polin was last seen when Hamas militants loaded him into the back of a pickup with other hostages abducted from the music festival where 260 ppl were murdered. His mother pleaded with leaders around the world to bring home his child and all the over 200 other hostages currently being held in Gaza.
