Kumah Year 2 is off to an incredible start. For the uninitiated, Kumah is an extracurricular after-school program for boys. It is open for boys in 4th – 8th grades. Kumah has 4, 6-week sessions this year. Each session has multiple courses, each course meets one night a week for 6 weeks.
In session 1, Fall Session, Kumah offered classes in parkour, safrus/bookbinding, woodworking, hockey, and wilderness. Session 2 which starts on Monday, December 25th will offer bar mitzvah breakdancing, safrus/bookbinding, woodworking, chess, hockey, and wilderness. Kumah is a community initiative.
Kumah is proud of their commitment to “provide boys in the community quality, extracurricular activities, in a Torah environment, regardless of their ability to pay.”
