Last week in Ramot, Ariel Ben David and other United Hatzalah volunteers had the honor of participating in a hachnasas Sefer Torah with Rabbi Paley and his family, who’s young sons, Asher and Yaakov, were killed in a terrorist ramming a year ago.
Ariel was one of the first to arrive on the scene. “Our volunteers live in the communities they serve in and are there for the good times and the bad” said Eli Beer, the famed CEO of United Hatzalah.
The two children HY”D, Yaakov Yisrael Paley, 5, and his brother, Asher Menahem Paley, 7, were killed by a terrorist who drove a car into the bus stop where they were waiting, in the Ramot neighborhood.
May their Holy Neshamos have an Aliyah.
