The IDF announced the tragic death of another soldier killed in the southern Gaza Strip, bringing the grim death toll in the ground offensive against Hamas to 247 R”L:
Staff Sgt. David Sasson HY”D, 21, of the Oketz canine unit, from Ganot Hadar.
Another 12 soldiers were hurt, five of them seriously, in the same battle against Hamas terrorists.
