Overnight Closures at the Nassau Expressway/Seagirt Boulevard Interchange in the Village of Lawrence, Nassau County.
The New York State Department of Transportation is advising motorists of overnight closures at the interchange of Nassau Expressway (State Route 878) and Seagirt Boulevard in the Village of Lawrence, Nassau County, beginning on Monday, March 11, until Friday, May 31, between the hours of 10 p.m. and 6 a.m. to facilitate maintenance on the Seagirt Boulevard bridge.
– Northbound Nassau Expressway will be closed between Seagirt Boulevard and Rock Hall Road. There will be a signed detour onto westbound Seagirt Boulevard to northbound Beach 9th Street onto Empire Avenue to return to Nassau Expressway.
– The ramp from eastbound Seagirt Boulevard to northbound Nassau Expressway will be closed. For access to the northbound Nassau Expressway, motorists should follow the detour onto northbound Beach 9th Street onto Empire Avenue. The ramp to the southbound Nassau Expressway for the Atlantic Beach Bridge will remain open.
