UPDATE: NYC Mayor Eric Adams says the FDNY is investigating the cause of the deadly fire that left at least 19 dead. Says the fire appears to have started from a space heater.
FDNY Commissioner Nigro says devastating Bronx fire was caused by a malfunctioning electric space heater. When the residents of the apartment fled, the door was left open, enabling the smoke to travel through the building.

I am just so angry. Kristal Bayron-Nieves was my nephews cousin. She was an only child and just 19 years old. Her family moved to NYC a few years ago in search of a better future. Please keep her mother in prayer.https://t.co/chPrUT5NUp
