At approximately 4:20 AM Saturday morning the LCFD was alerted for a building on fire at the intersection of Burnside Avenue and Garden Lane (661 Burnside Ave).
Heavy fire was found in a two story commercial building and eventually rose to a second alarm fire. Multiple Tower Ladders were requested to the scene.
Thankfully there were no injuries and the fire was brought under control in just under 2 hours. Fire operations were under the command of Chief of Department Foy.
The LCFD was joined by mutual aid companies that assisted in the fire. As always we thank our local Fire Fighter heroes were devoting their lives on behalf of the community.
